Frequently Asked Questions
What is an e-visit?
MyAspirus e-visits provide patients with increased access to Aspirus providers for non-emergency health care concerns without the need to travel to an in-person office visit.
We can help established Aspirus patients with minor medical concerns through a secure online questionnaire available to anyone with a MyAspirus account. Thanks to the power of the Internet, patients can gain access to our provider’s clinical experience for advice, treatment recommendation and, if necessary, prescription medication, all without leaving the privacy of your home or office.
Through MyAspirus, patients fill out a 10-15-minute online questionnaire to be reviewed by an Aspirus provider along with the patient’s medical record, which is already on file. Upon reviewing this information, the provider will offer treatment recommendations. If you need a prescription, it will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice.
All e-visits are documented and filed in the patient’s private electronic medical record for future review, if necessary.

Our medical providers dedicate time every workday to check for and respond to e-visit submissions. Typically, requests for care are addressed within 2 hours during normal office hours and you will receive your e-visit response via your MyAspirus account.
Please be aware that since e-visits are web-based, they are dependent on technology. Unforeseen issues like poor Internet connections, outages or server issues could delay our response time. Because of this, e-visits are solely to be utilized for minor medical problems that can, as a rule, wait up to 24 hours for a medical decision and treatment, if necessary.
