Aspirus is committed to supporting every family throughout pregnancy. The Healthy Mom Safe Baby Program provides extra care and resources for pregnant women affected by substance use.
Working closely with a dedicated Maternal Child Health Care Coordinator, participants receive individualized support before and after delivery.
The program includes:
- Personalized care planning
- Coordination of OB-GYN, primary care and specialty appointments
- Education throughout pregnancy
- Referrals to Aspirus and community resources
- Discharge planning after delivery
- Ongoing phone support
- Postpartum follow-up visits for mom and baby
- Continued support until the baby's first birthday
The program is designed to improve maternal health, reduce substance exposure for infants and help families build healthy, safe environments for their growing child.
Plus One Doula Program
Aspirus proudly supports the use of doulas during pregnancy and childbirth. Through the Plus One Doula Program, qualifying families may receive partial or full financial assistance to help cover the cost of doula services, providing additional emotional, physical and educational support throughout pregnancy and birth.
