Aspirus Plans for Chippewa Falls
Progress Continues on Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital and Clinic
June 11, 2026
Officials from throughout the Chippewa Valley have been getting an up-close look at progress on the new Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital and Clinic during a series of construction site tours recently held with facility leaders.
Work crews continue to move the project forward on schedule, positioning Aspirus to open the new hospital and clinic in September. Once complete, the facility will deliver a broad range of essential services, including emergency care, inpatient care, imaging, lab services, and a primary care clinic.
During a recent construction site tour, Jason Troxell, Aspirus WI Northwest Division President highlighted the rapid advancement of the project and outlined how the new facility will expand access to high-quality care across the Chippewa Valley.
“This project is moving quickly because our teams and partners are fully committed to bringing this vision to life for the Chippewa Valley,” said Troxell. “We are building more than a facility—we are expanding access to advanced, compassionate care and creating a modern environment where our patients and care teams can thrive for years to come.”
Designed to meet the region’s evolving health care needs, the new hospital combines advanced technology with a patient-centered approach and modern care environments. Aspirus leaders emphasized that the investment strengthens local health care infrastructure while supporting long-term community growth and well-being.
Hiring efforts for the new facility are already ahead of schedule, with strong interest from talented professionals eager to join the Aspirus team.
“We are delighted with our recruitment progress and are seeing a lot of interest in our posted positions. This momentum reflects both the strength of the Aspirus mission and the excitement surrounding the new hospital and clinic,” said Troxell.
For decades, Aspirus has delivered nationally recognized quality care across Wisconsin. The Chippewa Falls project represents the next step in that commitment—enhancing access, strengthening local services, and supporting healthier communities throughout the region.
The new hospital and clinic are being built on a 22‑acre greenfield site and is designed to expand access to high‑quality care close to home. Once complete it will offer primary care, emergency services, inpatient care, laboratory services, and imaging.
Construction is anticipated to be completed in September 2026.
To keep the community connected and informed, Aspirus has launched a live construction webcam. The camera offers a real-time view of the project’s progress — from foundation to finish — so you can follow along as we build a modern, patient-centered space designed to meet the region’s growing health care needs.
