Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital and Clinic Opens For Patient Care

Aspirus Health officially marked the opening of Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital and Clinic for patient care on Tuesday, September 22.
The new facility is designed to strengthen access to high-quality, patient-centered care for Chippewa Falls and the surrounding region.
The Aspirus Chippewa Falls Emergency Department received its first patient via Ambulance at 7:10 a.m. and Aspirus Chippewa Falls Clinic had its first scheduled patient at 9 a.m.
The hospital and clinic, located at 1326 Chippewa Crossing Boulevard, brings hospital and clinic services together in one convenient location. Services include emergency care, inpatient hospital care, primary care, imaging services, laboratory services and an on-site inpatient pharmacy.
“This opening represents an important milestone for Aspirus and for the Chippewa Falls community,” said Anne Sadowska, VP-Chief Administrative Officer, WI Northwest Division, Aspirus Health. “This facility was planned to restore local access to basic services as soon as possible and we are proud to bring together the services, technology and care teams that will help people receive excellent, compassionate care closer to home.”
Aspirus leaders say the project reflects the organization’s commitment to listening to local needs and responding with care that is accessible, coordinated and built around the communities it serves. By combining hospital and clinic services in one setting, the facility is designed to support timely evaluation, treatment and follow-up while creating a more seamless experience for patients and families.
“This is about more than opening a building,” Sadowska said. “It is about restoring and strengthening access to trusted health care services in a way that supports the long-term health and vitality of Chippewa Falls and the broader Chippewa Valley. We are grateful to the many team members, partners and community supporters who helped make this possible.”

During the ceremony, leaders emphasized the importance of rural health care and the role the new facility will play in strengthening access to care close to home. Speakers also recognized the many team members, community partners, elected officials, and supporters whose collaboration helped bring the project from concept to reality.
“This is an exciting milestone not only for Aspirus, but for Chippewa Falls and the many patients and families who will benefit from expanded access to care close to home,” said Jason Troxell, President of Aspirus Health’s Wisconsin Northwest Division. “We heard clearly from the community that they wanted more local health care options. This hospital and clinic are a direct response to those needs and represent our long-term commitment to supporting healthy, thriving communities throughout the Chippewa Valley.”
The event also featured remarks from community leaders, including representatives from the Chippewa Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Chippewa Falls, who spoke about the positive impact expanded health care access will have on local residents, employers, and the region’s continued growth. Clinicians who will provide care at the facility shared how the new hospital and clinic will support a high-quality patient experience in a welcoming and modern environment.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony culminated in a community celebration that showcased the facility and marked the beginning of a new chapter in health care for Chippewa Falls and the surrounding communities.
