Dermal-Infusion

Dermal-infusion is a non-invasive treatment patented by the brand SilkPeel™, now known as DiamondGlow™ that simultaneously exfoliates, extracts, and infuses skin with condition-specific serums. It is referred to as “DiamondGlow” because it uses actual diamonds on the tip of the hand piece to cause microdermabrasion, which is exfoliation of dead skin cells. It is an all-inclusive treatment that creates immediate and long-lasting results with no downtime.

Reasons to Consider Dermal-Infusion

Dermal-infusion treatments will improve:

  • Dark spots and sun damage on face, arms and decolletage
  • Aging skin with fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sallow skin
  • Dry, dehydrated skin
  • Acne-prone skin
  • Rough skin
  • Fine lines, discoloration, and sagging to the delicate skin surrounding eyes and mouth
  • Improved skin tone and texture

How does Dermal-infusion work?

Dermal-infusion is more than a facial. It is a cosmetic procedure that uses a diamond tip wand to deliver a next-level resurfacing treatment that deeply cleanses and rejuvenates the skin. The exfoliating properties will remove the dead skin cells and uncover renewed skin. The procedure will also deeply cleanse the skin and remove debris from pores. Additionally, the skin will be infused with a serum that is specific to achieving the desired results.

Dermal-infusion treatments are non-invasive with minimal downtime. The skin may be temporarily sensitive but will not be irritated.

It is advised that excessive heat from sun, hot showers and jacuzzies be avoided for 12 to 48 hours.  Skin products such as retinol, exfoliators and acne treatments should be avoided for three to five days.  Injectable treatments should be delayed for a minimum of seven days after a dermal-infusion treatment.

What is the treatment like and how long does it take?

  • Dermal-Infusion treatments are performed in the office.
  • The treatment area is cleansed.
  • One of four serums will be used to address your specific skin concerns, including Ultra Hydrating, Vitamin C, Pore Clarifying, and Skin Brightening.
  • A pen-shaped device is moved across the skin.  As the wand moves across the skin it will feel like a gentle suction.
  • Depending on the size of the treatment area, the process will take from 30 to 45 minutes.

How long do DiamondGlow™ treatments last?

Dermal-Infusion treatments are recommended every two weeks until desired results are achieved.  After that, maintenance treatments can be done monthly.
