Aspirus Oncology Research Institute

Aspirus Cancer Care - WI

For more than 30 years, Aspirus has been committed to advancing cancer care through clinical research. Since launching its cancer research program in 1994, Aspirus has provided patients with access to innovative clinical trials and emerging treatment options while contributing to advancements in cancer care nationwide.

Today, the Aspirus Oncology Research Institute (AORI) participates in the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP), a national network that brings cutting-edge cancer research to communities across the country. Through this partnership, patients can access clinical trials focused on cancer treatment, prevention, symptom management, survivorship, and cancer care delivery.

As a member of six NCI-funded research groups, AORI helps bring high-quality, clinically relevant studies to patients close to home. These research collaborations connect our communities to groundbreaking discoveries while maintaining the rigorous standards required by the nation's leading cancer research organizations.

Since becoming part of Cancer Research of Wisconsin and Northern Michigan (CROWN) in 2018, AORI has enrolled hundreds of participants in clinical trials, helping expand access to innovative therapies and improve cancer outcomes for future generations
