Gastroenterology
Gastroenterology is the medical specialty focused on the health of the digestive system, also known as the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. At Aspirus, patients have access to gastroenterology services through our health system and network of trusted specialty partners.
Digestive conditions can affect daily comfort, nutrition, and overall well-being. Our goal is to help patients receive timely evaluation, accurate diagnosis, and appropriate treatment for a wide range of GI concerns.
Access to Gastroenterology Services
Aspirus connects patients with gastroenterology specialists and care teams across our system and partner locations. Depending on your community, services may be provided by affiliated GI specialists, visiting providers, hospital-based procedural teams, or other qualified specialists depending on availability and need.
This coordinated approach helps ensure patients can access needed digestive care close to home whenever possible, with referral pathways for advanced evaluation and treatment when needed.
