As Breast Cancer Awareness Month approaches, Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital & Clinics is encouraging community members to start the conversation about breast health by attending an upcoming "Talk With A Doc" event focused on breast cancer early detection and treatment. The presentation will feature Zuhair Ghanem, MD, who will share information on screening, risk factors, diagnosis, and the latest treatment options available to patients.
“Breast cancer can affect anyone, which is why understanding your risk factors and staying current with recommended screenings is so important,” said Zuhair Ghanem, MD. “Early detection gives us the best opportunity for successful treatment and improved outcomes. By recognizing potential warning signs and taking a proactive approach to breast health, individuals can play an important role in their own care.”
The event will take place Tuesday, September 29 at 6:00 p.m. at the Aspirus Houghton Clinic. Light refreshments will be provided. During the session, attendees will learn about:
