Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital Plants Tree to Promote Health and Healing

The Tree Campus Healthcare Committee at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital is proud to share its commitment to environmental wellness through the Tree Campus Healthcare project.

In August, the hospital planted a tree on its grounds, a symbolic and practical step toward improving community health.

Trees play a vital role in our ecosystem. They:

  • Clean the air and water
  • Provide shade to cool urban areas
  • Offer a natural source of stress relief

Studies show that spending time outdoors among trees can:

  • Lower blood pressure
  • Reduce anxiety
  • Boost overall mood

Beyond personal health, trees support wildlife habitats, attract pollinators, and help combat climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide.

Even a single tree can make a meaningful difference.

Aspirus encourages everyone to embrace the healing power of nature and enjoy the beautiful outdoors, where wellness begins with every breath of fresh air.
