RHINELANDER, Wis. – Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic is pleased to welcome Ryan Black, DO, FAOCOO, to its Otolaryngology (ENT) team, expanding access to specialized ear, nose, and throat care for patients in Rhinelander and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Black is a board-certified otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon with more than 15 years of experience providing comprehensive care for ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo., and completed his otolaryngology residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Stillwater, Okla.
Throughout his career, Dr. Black has practiced in both hospital and private practice settings. He brings expertise in advanced ENT diagnostics, sleep apnea treatment, head and neck procedures, and facial plastic surgery. He is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and has been recognized for excellence in patient satisfaction.
“My approach to care is centered on partnering with patients to create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with their individual needs and goals,” said Dr. Black. “I believe in taking the time to educate patients and empower them to make informed decisions about their health.”
Dr. Black was drawn to the field of otolaryngology because of the complexity of the head and neck. During medical school, he completed an additional year working with the anatomy department, studying anatomic variation and conducting research—an experience that continues to inform his surgical precision and commitment to safe, effective care.
“My passion for healthcare comes from the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives,” Dr. Black added. “Building strong relationships with patients and helping them achieve better health is incredibly rewarding, and I’m excited to bring that commitment to the Rhinelander community.”
