Aspirus Houghton Clinic Opening Walk-in Clinic

You can’t always plan when you need health care. Illnesses and minor injuries often occur unexpectedly when you’re unable to see your regular provider. To meet these needs, Aspirus Houghton Clinic is opening a new Walk-In Clinic on March 2, 2026, offering convenient, timely access to care for non-life-threatening conditions.

The Walk-In Clinic will provide care without an appointment, allowing patients to be seen quickly for a variety of minor illnesses and injuries. This new service expands access to care for the Houghton community and surrounding area, offering an option when care can’t wait. The Walk-in Clinic will be open every day including holidays from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. located inside the Aspirus Houghton Clinic, 1000 Cedar Street, Houghton, MI 49931.

“Our goal is to be here for our patients when they need us most,” said Deanna Hayes, MSN, RN, Director – Michigan Region Clinics, Aspirus Health. “The Walk-In Clinic provides reassurance that patients can receive prompt, high-quality care close to home for unexpected health concerns.”

Walk-In Care is intended for medical issues that need same-day attention but are not life-threatening. Services may include evaluations, minor procedures, and access to basic lab testing and imaging when appropriate to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
