Aspirus Health is offering a free sports injury prevention clinic designed to help adolescent athletes build resilience, reduce injury risk, and improve long-term performance.
The “Bulletproof Athlete” Sports Clinic will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Aspirus Outpatient Therapies and Fitness Center – Calumet, 25680 Copper King Way, Calumet.
This hands-on clinic is intended for adolescent athletes and focuses on evidence-based, gold-standard techniques used by professional and collegiate athletes to stay healthy and competitive across a variety of sports, including football, basketball, and hockey. Coaches are also welcome to attend.
During the session, participants will learn practical strategies through interactive stations, including:

- Screens and Testing: Identifying weaknesses that can lead to injury
- Power & Landing: Preparing the body for the demands of competitive sport
- Recovery Lab: Maximizing repair and recovery

“Adolescent athletes often feel invincible — until an injury sidelines them,” said Brett Gervais, DPT, Physical Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist at Aspirus Health. “This clinic is about giving young athletes the tools and knowledge they need to move better, train smarter, and keep doing the sports they love with reduced risk of injury.”
The event is part of Aspirus’ ongoing commitment to community health and sports injury prevention. By teaching proper movement, strength, and recovery techniques early, Aspirus aims to support safer sports participation and long-term athletic development.
