Aspirus Health Welcomes Physical Therapist Austen Jentges, DPT, OCS, to Outpatient Therapies in Tomahawk

TOMAHAWK, Wis. – Aspirus Health is pleased to welcome Austen Jentges, DPT, OCS, to its outpatient therapies team in Tomahawk.
Jentges joined Aspirus Outpatient Therapies as a full-time physical therapist and has eight years of experience in outpatient care. He’s a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist, with advanced training in treating muscle, joint, and movement-related conditions.
Prior to joining Aspirus, Jentges served as a clinic director in Antigo where he also completed his orthopedic residency. He earned his undergraduate degree from Ripon College, where he was a two-sport athlete in football and track and field, and later completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Concordia University of Wisconsin.
“Tomahawk has always been special to me because my family has had a cabin here for as long as I can remember,” said Jentges. “It means a lot to now provide care in a community that’s been such an important part of my life growing up.”
Jentges has a strong interest in helping patients manage orthopedic conditions across all ages, from common injuries to chronic pain. “Low back pain is something I see often, and it can really hold people back from enjoying life,” he said. “I enjoy helping patients regain strength and get back to feeling like themselves again.”
Outside of work, Jentges is a motorsports enthusiast who competes in cross-country motocross races across Wisconsin. He also enjoys motorcycling, golf, hiking, and spending time with his wife, who is also a physical therapist, and their young son.
The fully staffed team at Aspirus Outpatient Therapies – Tomahawk offers physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, please call 715.453.7600, or visit aspirus.org.
