Aspirus Health Welcomes Certified Nurse Midwife Tylynn Morrison-Vidar to Rhinelander Clinic

RHINELANDER, Wis. – Aspirus Health is pleased to welcome Tylynn (Ty) Morrison-Vidar, CNM, a Certified Nurse Midwife, to the care team at Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic – N. Shore Drive, located at 2251 N Shore Drive.

Morrison-Vidar brings a strong background in women’s health, beginning her career as a Labor and Delivery nurse from 2018 to 2025. She further expanded her clinical expertise while serving as a student midwife from August 2024 through January 2025. In addition to her clinical work, she has contributed to the next generation of nurses as a Nursing Educator in the ADN program at Nicolet College.

She earned her master’s degree in Midwifery from Frontier University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. Morrison-Vidar has a special interest in labor and postpartum education, helping families feel prepared, confident, and supported throughout their journey.

“I became a midwife because I truly believe in supporting women and meeting them exactly where they are in their health and life journey,” said Morrison-Vidar. “Midwifery allows me to practice in a holistic way — caring not just for the physical aspects of pregnancy, birth, and women’s health, but for the emotional and mental experience as well.”

She added, “When it comes to pregnancy and birth, there’s something incredibly powerful about being invited to one of the most important moments in a woman’s life. Being able to witness that is what makes midwifery undoubtedly the best job.”

Morrison-Vidar’s philosophy of care centers on blending evidence-based practice with compassionate, personalized support. She is committed to ensuring every patient and family feels informed, respected, and celebrated throughout their care experience.

“Ty’s passion for holistic, patient-centered care aligns perfectly with our mission at Aspirus Health,” said Zoey Durkee, Supervisor – Specialty, Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic – N. Shore Drive. “Her experience in both clinical care and education will be a tremendous asset to our patients and community.”

When she’s not caring for patients, Morrison-Vidar enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time reading.
