Aspirus Health Supports Mental Health Training for Clark County Law Enforcement

(Stanley, WI)- As part of its continued effort to enhance community safety and mental health awareness, Aspirus Health recently provided funding for a training program aimed at equipping law enforcement officers with the necessary skills to manage mental health crises effectively.
Members of the Clark County Sheriff’s Department recently joined with several other area law Enforcement Agencies for the training which featured Colorado State Patrol Captin Darrell Aulston. “This training program directly supports efforts to better equip our deputies with the skills and resources to combat mental health related matters whether on or off-duty,” said Clark County Chief Deputy James Hirsch. “We are grateful for this partnership and the continued investment of Aspirus in the well-being of our deputies and the community we serve.
Recognizing the pivotal role law enforcement plays in mental health crises, Aspirus Health has been proactive in fostering partnerships with local agencies.
