Aspirus Health Plan offers insurance products on HealthCare.gov

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has designated Aspirus Health Plan as a Qualified Health Plan (QHP) for coverage in 2021. The designation allows Aspirus Health Plan to offer health insurance products on the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace at HealthCare.gov.

The Health Insurance Marketplace is an online resource where individuals and families can compare health insurance plans, apply for coverage, or find out if they might qualify for savings. The website makes it easy to review available health care coverage to help find a plan that best fits your budget and personal health needs.

If you do not have health insurance through an employer, Medicare, or Medicaid, the Marketplace can help you get coverage. Open Enrollment runs from Sunday, November 1, 2020 through Tuesday, December 15, 2020 for health insurance coverage beginning January 1, 2021. Enrollments and plan changes outside of this window require a qualifying event.
“Aspirus Health Plan is pleased to be able to reduce premiums for 2021 to help individuals and families afford health insurance,” said Brett Davis, President of Aspirus Health Plan. “This has been made possible by the efficient and quality health care that Aspirus delivers, which strengthens the communities served.”

Shopping for and enrolling in affordable medical insurance on the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace can be done online, by phone, or with in-person help from a trained assister or an agent or broker.

More information about affordable health insurance during open enrollment is provided online by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
