Aspirus expands Orthopedic Surgical Services to Woodruff

New outreach brings specialized orthopedic care closer to home for Northwoods residents

WOODRUFF, Wis. – Aspirus Northland Orthopedics is expanding its orthopedic surgical services to the Aspirus Woodruff Clinic – Maple Street, located within Howard Young Medical Center. This expansion supports the growing need for accessible, high-quality orthopedic care in the Northwoods and reflects Aspirus’ ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the communities it serves.

Dr. Jeffrey Meincke-Reza, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon based at Aspirus Northland Orthopedics in Rhinelander, will begin seeing patients at the Woodruff Clinic every other Thursday.

Dr. Meincke-Reza received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Illinois – Chicago, and his orthopedic residency at the University of Texas – San Antonio. He provides a full spectrum of orthopedic surgical care, including treatment for hip and knee arthritis, joint replacement, tendonitis, knee arthroscopy, carpal tunnel syndrome, and more.

“I’m excited to begin seeing patients and providing outreach at Aspirus Woodruff Clinic,” said Dr. Meincke-Reza. “This allows patients to access specialized orthopedic surgical care close to home—without the need for extensive travel.”

Aspirus Northland Orthopedics treats patients of all ages, from toddlers to older adults, offering advanced diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of bone and joint conditions. Services include both surgical and non-surgical care for issues affecting the ankle, elbow, foot, hand, hip, knee, shoulder, and wrist. The team also provides expert care for osteoarthritis, orthopedic trauma, sports injuries, joint revisions, and complex bone fractures.
