Aspirus offers Non-Clinical internship opportunities designed to give college students within one year of graduation real-world healthcare-experience in the areas of Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain, Revenue Cycle, Data Analytics, IT, and Project Management. Highlights

Opportunities through our Non-Clinical Internship program are paid positions within various non-clinical departments.

Spring/Fall:

  • Typically Spring/Fall interns are part-time positions, however can support your course requirements with information on expectations listed in the job posting. Fall and spring interns will work within the department of their chosen field of study, with support and guidance of their department manager. Interns have planned meaningful experiences and exposure to leadership and training.

Summer Intern Cohort:

Our summer internship program provides not only exposure to work and mentorship in both their assigned Aspirus department but also through working collaboratively with a cross-functional intern team.  Weekly education series and social events with your intern team connect you within Aspirus and the greater Wausau community.

  • 10-week paid internship
  • Orientation and development kick-off to start developing relations with the intern team
  • Cohorted intern team project with executive coaching
  • End-of-summer culminating event and presentation
  • Weekly education series allowing interns to learn about healthcare and Aspirus
  • Intern team social events

Intern Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a post-secondary institution
  • Targeting one year or less from graduation
  • Enrollment in coursework or degree relevant to department of interest
