Upper Peninsula Native Joins Aspirus Keweenaw Family Medicine Team

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital & Clinics proudly welcomes Family Medicine Physician Jaime Oswald, MD to its excellent team of medical providers. Dr. Oswald specializes in comprehensive and preventative care for the whole family, and she has special clinical interests in women’s health. She is now accepting patients at Aspirus Houghton Clinic in Houghton.

Dr. Oswald is originally from Bark River. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a Physiology concentration from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Mich., and a Doctorate from Central Michigan University College of Medicine in Mount Pleasant, Mich. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at Providence Family Medicine Clinic in Anchorage, Alaska.

For Dr. Oswald, having the opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of the residents of the Upper Peninsula is what inspired her to pursue a career in medicine.

“I’m thrilled to return to the Upper Peninsula where my story began,” said Dr. Oswald.

Dr. Oswald is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, and Advanced Trauma Life support.

Dr. Oswald and her family are excited to be back home in the beautiful Upper Peninsula, caring for patients and helping to make a positive difference in the community!
