PORTAGE, Wis. – Aspirus Divine Savior is proud to offer a free community education event on women’s health Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The event will be held in Lower-Level Conference Room A, accessible through Hospital Entrance A.
Dr Josh Pogorelec, General Surgeon at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital, will provide expert insights on:
- How often mammograms should be scheduled and when to start
- What to do after receiving an abnormal mammogram
- What to expect during consultation and biopsy appointments, if needed
Additionally, several other clinicians will be covering topics including Pelvic Floor health, managing Lymphedema, women’s fitness, and so much more.
Walk-in mammograms will be available. For those feeling creative, a cupcake competition will be held at the beginning of the event.
This is a valuable opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about women's health concerns – as well as their partners and family members – to ask questions, learn from leading medical professionals, and feel empowered about their health decisions.
RSVP is encouraged. Please call 608.745.3868 to reserve your seat.
