Aspirus Health is
proud to announce that Cecilia
Stroede, MD, a trusted and advanced breast surgeon, has joined Aspirus
Medical Group. Dr. Stroede is a board-certified surgeon who is
fellowship-trained in breast surgery.
Her addition helps
Aspirus expand comprehensive breast health care. She will be based out of
Aspirus Plastic Surgery, 1901 Westwood Center Boulevard, Wausau.

increasing the care and resources necessary to meet the changing needs of
communities is more important to Aspirus than ever. “The addition of Dr.
Stroede is an exciting opportunity for Aspirus to expand access to vital

Medical Group. “Dr. Stroede is a trusted physician who has built impactful
relationships for many years while providing advanced breast health services in
our area.”
An expert in her
field, Dr. Stroede has been consistently recognized for her compassionate care.
In 2019 she received an Excellence in Healthcare Award from Professional
Research Consultants. Patients of Dr. Stroede consistently rate her overall
quality of care at or above the 100th percentile.

Supporting Dr.
Stroede and her colleagues are the Aspirus Breast Health Nurse Navigators,
providing educational information, resources and support to those with breast
health concerns.
Dr. Stroede has been
practicing breast surgery for over 20 years. She received a Doctor of Medicine
degree from Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, and completed her
residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, IL. She
completed a fellowship specializing in breast surgery at the University of
Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.
