Aspirus Woodruff Clinic - Maple Street Welcomes Catherine Ziegler, FNP

WOODRUFF, Wis. – Aspirus Woodruff Clinic – Maple Street proudly welcomes Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Catherine Ziegler, to its team of family medicine providers. She has a special interest in pediatrics, women’s health and behavioral health.
Ziegler earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, and her bachelor’s degree from Viterbo College in La Crosse. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Ziegler has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for the last 15 years and provides care for patients of all ages. “I enjoy working with children and adolescents, as well as patients with chronic disease processes,” she said. “Caring for patients through every stage of life gives me the opportunity to make a real difference in their health and well-being.”
Family Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice providers who deliver a broad range of health care services. They are trained to diagnose and treat illnesses, manage chronic health conditions, prescribe medications, and provide preventive care such as wellness visits and health screenings. FNPs often build long-term relationships with patients and families, focusing on whole-person health across every stage of life.

When Ziegler isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, snowmobiling, fishing, exercising her dogs, completing home improvement projects, and researching genealogy.
