Aspirus Stevens Point Welcomes New Provider Laura S Wargowsky, AGACNP-BC

STEVENS POINT, Wis. - Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital is pleased to welcome Laura S. Wargowsky, AGACNP-BC, to its team of advanced practice providers. Wargowsky has already begun seeing patients and brings a strong clinical background and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to the community.

Wargowsky earned her post-master’s degree as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University in St. Louis. She is an experienced advanced practice provider specializing in endocrinology, with four years of prior clinical experience in hospital medicine. Her professional special interests include diabetes and hypothyroidism

In describing her approach to care, Wargowsky shared, “My philosophy of care is centered on providing compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based practice that fosters trust and promotes long-term health outcomes. I believe in building strong therapeutic relationships through active listening, clear communication, and respect for each patient’s values and goals.”

Outside of her professional work, Wargowsky enjoys gardening, fiber art, and traveling.
