Aspirus Outpatient Therapies relocating to benefit patients
Aspirus Ontonagon Outpatient Therapies is pleased to announce it is moving to a new location directly across the street from Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital and Clinic. Staff will begin seeing patients in this new space located at 730 S. 7th Street on February 23, 2022.
The relocation will improve access to care for patients says Rae Kaare, Aspirus Ontonagon chief administrative officer.
Being right across the street from Aspirus Ontonagon’s hospital and clinic services will offer several benefits for outpatient therapy patients. Patients can expect:
- The same high-quality care they know and trust delivered with increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Greater access to medical providers.
- Better coordination of care and collaboration across services.
- Improved parking and easier access for those with mobility issues.
- A similar phone system.
A multidisciplinary team made the difficult decision to close the fitness center following a rigorous and thoughtful analysis of memberships, patient needs, COVID-19 safety concerns and more. Any appointments scheduled with the Outpatient Therapies team on or after February 23 remain the same date and time, only the location has changed to the new location at 730 S. 7th Street.
“Our entire team is focused on making this transition as seamless as possible for our therapy patients,” Kaare said. “And our fitness center members will be happy to know the current outpatient therapy location will be sold and the new owner plans to open an Anytime Fitness in the spring. We are thrilled to welcome another business to help provide health and wellness to the Ontonagon community.”
Aspirus Ontonagon Outpatient Therapies provides specialized physical, occupational and speech therapy services to help patients who have suffered illness or injury regain function and return to everyday life.
