Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital Foundation receives $3000 in donations

Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital Foundation recently received $3000 in donations from Ontonagon residents Dan and Norman Pestka. Dan generously donated $1500 from Pestka Construction, and Norman generously matched that amount. Presented to Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital Foundation President Jim Jessup and Foundation board members, the donations were in recognition of the compassionate care Dan recently received at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital.

“I’d like to personally thank Aspirus Ontonagon Emergency Provider Dr. Michael Cearlock and Aspirus Wausau Neurosurgeon Dr. Craig Kelman for the very thoughtful care and teamwork they provided,” Norman said.

The Foundation will honor and thank Dan and Norman as tournament sponsors at the Aspirus Ontonagon Foundation Golf Outing set to tee off July 19, 2023. The golf outing is a charitable fundraising opportunity for the Foundation, and one of the highlights of the year for the community, Foundation and Aspirus employees. There is still time to register a team by calling 906-884-8107.

“We are extremely grateful for this generous support of the Foundation,” said Jim Jessup, Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital Foundation President. “All funds are used to directly benefit and enhance the patient experience at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital. Due to generous donations like this, we are able to provide a higher level of care to the Ontonagon Community and surrounding areas.”
