Aspirus Langlade Hospital Donation to The Salvation Army of Langlade County

The Salvation Army of Langlade County received a $1,000 donation from Aspirus Langlade Hospital. In addition to presenting The Salvation Army of Langlade County with the donation hospital leaders purchased a Salvation Army button for $25. The button shows you have already donated towards the Red Kettle campaign for this Holiday Season.
Aspirus Langlade Hospital has been designated by The Salvation Army as an authorized location in Langlade County to distribute Salvation Army vouchers to those in need. The hospital uses these vouchers to help patients cover medication costs, hotel stays, transportation and medical equipment, such as a blood pressure cuff.
“The Salvation Army provides resources that are essential to meet the needs of our community,” said Cathy Connor, Director, Emergency Services at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. “Several departments turn to this resource for patient needs and knowing that you can help in a time when they need it most is very rewarding. We are grateful to The Salvation Army for providing these resources!”
The Salvation Army has now reached $70,000 of its $100,000 campaign goal, which will be used for medical needs, fuel assistance, rental assistance and more throughout the coming year. Community members and businesses are encouraged to continue donating through the end of January 2022.
If community members need rent or utility assistance, they are encouraged to call 715-623-5177. Call 715-623-5717 for more information on food, gasoline, and co-pay assistance.
