“By shifting our attitude and perspective as they relate to aging, we need not fear getting older, but rather embrace the opportunity and find ways to live life joyfully,” said Harkness. “By understanding how our bodies and brains change over time, we can make small, meaningful adjustments that help us stay active, independent, and engaged in the things we love.”
The Wisdom & Wellness series provides an opportunity for community members to connect with trusted healthcare professionals, ask questions, and gain tools to support long‑term health and independence. The goal is simple: to empower individuals with knowledge to live healthier, safer lives.
This event is free of charge, and light refreshments will be provided. Registration is requested. To reserve your spot, please call 906‑265‑0402.
Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend, especially those interested in proactive approaches to aging well, reducing the risk of cognitive changes, and supporting loved ones who may be presenting with declining skills.
