With clinical interests spanning COPD, asthma, post‑COVID‑19 conditions, sleep apnea, and chronic respiratory failure, Dr. Bonebrake offers a comprehensive and empathetic approach to patients managing both acute and long‑term respiratory challenges.
Dr. Bonebrake’s professional background is distinguished by extensive training and board certification across four medical specialties. He completed his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois, followed by residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison. He then pursued fellowship training in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, further strengthening his expertise in complex pulmonary care. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the American Board of Internal Medicine – CSQ: Pulmonary Disease.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bonebrake has maintained a strong focus on the full spectrum of pulmonary health, with a particular emphasis on COPD and chronic respiratory failure.
