Aspirus Wausau Hospital Kidney Care is located in the Oak View Professional Building, Suite 106. We offer area residents the choice for outpatient dialysis in Wausau.
We offer daytime dialysis appointments in an inviting, home-like atmosphere. Our Medicare certification assures you that you are receiving high quality care covered by your Medicare benefits.
In addition to experienced dialysis nurses, our caring staff includes technicians, a registered dietitian and a social worker.
We provide:
- Experienced and caring outpatient hemodialysis services
- We support your independence by training you for home dialysis
- Referral assistance to the transplant center of your choice
New to dialysis?
If you are new to dialysis we’ll work closely with you to find a regular appointment time that fits your life. Our experienced and caring staff is here to help you work through the changes that dialysis will bring to you and your family.
On your first visit, please wear comfortable clothing, including a button down or zippered top. You’ll be with us for 3 to 4 hours, so bring a companion or a hobby along if you wish. You may also enjoy your own individual television and remote headset if you prefer. If you have questions, we encourage you to ask about anything you want to know. Our staff will go the extra mile to help you learn about dialysis and its impact on your body and lifestyle.
