About this Location
With the latest technology and a highly skilled staff, Aspirus Kidney Care - Antigo strives to give patients the best in renal care. The center offers twelve Hemodialysis stations equipped with state-of-the-art hemodialysis machines that allow the staff to individually customize hemodialysis treatment. Each station is equipped with a comfortable recliner offering heat and massage capability and a flat screen television where patients can enjoy their favorite programs.
Treatment
Hemodialysis or more commonly referred to as renal or kidney dialysis is a treatment that removes waste and excess fluids from the blood. Patients usually receive hemodialysis treatments 3 times per week with each treatment lasting between 3 and 4 hours. With the proper amount of dialysis, a patients overall health will improve. Outside of dialysis treatments patients are fully mobile and capable of living a long and productive life.
