Maternal Health Listening Session

Aspirus Stevens Point Birthing Center is proud to participate in the Wisconsin Maternal Health Innovation Program by hosting an important Maternal Health Listening Session on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Archangel Café in the Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital.
Maternal mortality and morbidity rates remain critical indicators of the health care received by individuals before, during, and after pregnancy. Unfortunately, Wisconsin continues to face challenges in maternal health outcomes, with significant disparities affecting many communities. This listening session offers a unique opportunity to bring diverse voices together to share lived experiences and insights related to maternal care access in Central Wisconsin.
We are seeking 10 to 12 participants (pregnant women or postpartum moms) who live in Central Wisconsin to join this session. Selected participants will receive a $100 stipend and a free meal. To help make participation possible, transportation assistance and free childcare will be provided.
Interested individuals must apply by August 31st, 2025, and applications can be submitted by scanning the QR code on the flyer below. Selected participants will be notified in early September.
This session is a critical step in improving maternal health equity and outcomes throughout Wisconsin. Your voice matters!
