Aspirus Health Foundation’s Annual Lights of Love fundraiser is a meaningful and beautiful way to remember and honor those dear to us during the holiday season. The Lights of Love trees are displayed throughout the holiday season between Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital and Riverview Expressway.
A community tradition since 2001, Lights of Love celebrates our loved ones through the purchase of lights in their memory or honor. All proceeds are used by the Aspirus Health Foundation’s – Wisconsin Rapids Patient Assistance Fund to support initiatives focused on our community’s greatest health needs, including substance abuse, behavioral/mental health, patient comfort, food systems and cancer.
Lights of Love may be purchased year-round for $3 each. There are also opportunities to donate $25 (silver level) or $100+ (gold level) in memory or honor of someone special. To order Lights of Love, pick up an order form at Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital’s main lobby or Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Clinic – Peach Street. Lights of Love ordered after November 1 will be included in next year’s list.
The 24th annual Lights of Love tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday, November 19. The ceremony will once again be broadcast live on WFHR 1320AM/97.5FM, enabling everyone to listen from the comfort of their home or vehicle. Those who wish to gather near the trees or to watch the tree lighting from their vehicles may park in the southwest corner of Aspirus Riverview Hospital’s parking lot 1.
