Become a Volunteer
To become an Aspirus Volunteer at Aspirus Wausau Hospital or for Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services, please complete an online application. To receive a paper application by mail, please call 715-847-2848.
Prospective volunteers requirements:
- Be at least 14 years old. If you are between the ages of 14-17, parent/guardian consent is required. Hospice Volunteers are required to be 18 or older.
- Abide by Aspirus policies and procedures, and complete volunteer requirements.
- Background check.
- Code of Conduct Attestation.
- Confidentiality Agreement.
- Compliance Training.
In addition, you must successfully complete Employee Health requirements to be eligible to volunteer at Aspirus. These requirements include:
- Tuberculosis test (requires blood draw).
- A minimal physical.
- Titers showing positive immunity (requires blood draw).
- Annual participation in Aspirus Vaccination Program.
