Aspirus Offers Free “Preparing for Pregnancy” Program in Medford

Medford, Wis. – Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinic invites community members to take proactive steps toward a healthy pregnancy by attending Preparing for Pregnancy, a free educational program on Monday, September 22 at 4:00 p.m.
This session will give participants the tools and confidence to plan for a strong start to parenthood.
Attendees will learn how to:
Schedule and prepare for a pre-pregnancy appointment
Track ovulation and understand fertility cycles
Quit smoking and alcohol before pregnancy
Choose the right vitamins and supplements
Build healthy habits with diet and exercise
Manage stress effectively
Use and interpret pregnancy tests
Schedule their first prenatal appointment
Connect with local prenatal resources
The program will be led by Elizabeth Edinger, WHNP-BC, CLC, from Aspirus Medford Clinic, who will share practical guidance and answer questions.
“Preparing for pregnancy is one of the best investments you can make in your future family’s health,” said Edinger. “This program equips participants with knowledge and resources to help them feel confident as they begin this exciting journey.”
The event will be held in the Community Education Room at Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinic, 135 South Gibson Street, Medford. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is free but requested in advance by calling 715-748-8103 ext. 17245.
