Birthing Suites
For a homelike delivery, we offer birthing suites where you experience labor, delivery and recovery. Your birthing suite is equipped with advanced medical technology for you and your baby. Your room is designed for comfort with TV and DVD player for your family’s enjoyment and educational needs. And to relax, enjoy your own shower and whirlpool tub during labor or after delivery.Once your little one arrives we encourage you to keep your baby in the room with you. Your nurse will provide individualized care for you, your baby, and your family.
High-Risk Services
Consults are always available through our partner, Aspirus Wausau Hospital, for high-risk mothers and babies. The Aspirus Neonatal Intensive Care Unit(NICU) has state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that the area’s newborns continue to receive the best care possible.
Security & Safety
The safety of your baby and you are important to us. Therefore, the Birthing Center is equipped with a state-of- the-art security system.
Programs
The staff at Langlade Birthing Center offers a wide variety of educational programs to help you and your family adjust to the changes that you go through during pregnancy. During your pregnancy, you may request a private visit with a Registered Nurse from the Birthing Center. A RN will answer your questions and help you find the resources you need to have a happy and healthy pregnancy. We also offer community education/classes in: Childbirth, Prenatal education, Breastfeeding support, Baby & Me Support Group, Infant care classes and Sibling classes.
