Aspirus Care & Rehab is a 50-bed skilled nursing facility that is connected to Aspirus Medford Hospital. All our residents/patients are provided with a wide range of daily therapeutic and active leisure activities including arts and crafts, reading groups, brain games to stimulate memory and other cognitive functions, exercise, music, church services, and/or transportation and assistance to enjoy community festivals, concerts, and fishing in our local lakes.

General and Restorative Nursing Services
Our general and restorative nursing services are designed for those who can no longer be cared for at home or in an assisted living setting due to illness, injury or other physical limitations.

Skilled Nursing Services
Aspirus Care & Rehab’s skilled nursing services benefit patients who may have suffered from a prolonged acute or chronic illness or may have had a recent illness, injury or surgical procedure. These patients are medically stable but may require an increased frequency of nursing assessment and monitoring. (Private rooms are available.) Services include:
- Cardiac recovery services
- Case management
- Complete diabetes treatment
- Discharge planning
- Infusion therapy
- On-site dietician for nutritional support
- Ostomy care
- Pain management
- Respiratory services
- Wound and skin care
- Alzheimer’s Disease – For those with Dementia or other memory challenges, Aspirus Care & Rehab can offer services and an individualized plan of care for the less severe.
- End-of-Life Commitment – A holistic and compassionate plan of care can be provided in cooperation with Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services, and Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc.
