Aspirus Iron River’s Taylor Taylor attains Nurse Executive certification

Taylor Taylor, MBA, MSN-RN, NE-BC, CPHQ, Director of Nursing with Aspirus Iron River Hospital & Clinics, is now certified as a Nurse Executive through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). This certification recognizes Taylor’s dedication to advancing nursing excellence as well as her commitment to driving transformative change within Aspirus Health.

The Nurse Executive certification is a testament to Taylor's leadership expertise and unwavering dedication to patient-centered care. By obtaining this credential, Taylor has demonstrated proficiency in nursing administration, strategic planning, and health care management.

“This certification allows me to leverage my leadership skills and capabilities in guiding nursing and our clinical care teams toward continuous quality health care in our rural area,” Taylor said. “We play a key role in ensuring efficient delivery of quality care to those who choose us.”

Taylor earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Finlandia University. She earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University. She obtained her Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification in 2021.

Taylor has several years of experience in nursing, quality, management and operations. Prior to her role at Aspirus, she held leadership positions in quality, clinic operations and service lines, and worked as a staff nurse in various departments.

As Director of Nursing, Taylor has been instrumental in spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and safety as well as improving quality of care.

The ANCC Nurse Executive certification program covers key leadership performance in human resources and business management, quality and safety, and health care delivery.

Taylor’s other notable accomplishments include serving on the Advisory Board for Bay College and precepting graduate nursing students.
