Clinical Rotations
Aspirus offers clinical rotations in conjunction with your school representative/instructor. These rotations allow you to gain valuable experience in healthcare while fulfilling school requirements.

Provider Rotations (NP, PA, CNM, CRNA, AuD, Med Students & Residents)
Program Highlights:
- Aspirus provides a healthcare learning environment with the supervision of a trained provider/preceptor to meet the goals set by your school's program.
- Hands on clinical experiences required of 3rd and/or 4th year medical students, APC and AuD students, and residents.
- Supports the hours required by the school program.

Student Rotations
Program Highlights:
Aspirus provides a healthcare learning environment for:
- Preceptor Students: one-on-one experience under the supervision of a trained provider/preceptor to meet the goals set by school's program.
- Cohort Students: group experience led by a school Instructor, with the supervision of a trained provider/preceptor, to meet the goals set by your school's program.
- Attending Instructors: any instructor providing onsite clinical supervision/instruction to their rotating students.
Common Clinical Rotations:
Program Eligibility/Requirements:
School / School Representative must:
- Have an active academic affiliation with Aspirus.
- Send through initial application 6 weeks prior to rotation, on behalf of the student(s)/instructor(s) completing a hands-on clinical required for graduation.
- Attest that student(s)/instructor(s) will meet all health requirements prior to rotation start.
- Proof of immunity to:
i. Rubella, Rubeola (Measles), Mumps and via two vaccinations or titer showing immunity.
ii. (Chicken Pox) via two vaccinations, titer showing immunity or doctor approved verification.
- TB testing and/or TB counsel/treatment for past positive testing, in compliance with your school requirement
- Participation in the (seasonal) Influenza Prevention Program; vaccination or declination form required per the Influenza Vaccination Compliance Policy (masking is a requirement during the entirety of Flu Season if declined)
- Participation in the (seasonal) COVID-19 Safety Program; vaccination or declination form required per the COVID Vaccination Compliance Policy.
- Attest that student(s)/instructor(s) completed a state background check.
Attending Student(s) must:
- Submit all onboarding requirements 2 weeks prior to the start of rotation. (The below requirements are available through the sent application link upon school representatives’ initial application)
- Review and Acknowledge: Aspirus Infection Prevention, Aspirus Regulatory Training and Aspirus Compliance Code of Conduct.
- Provide date of vaccination and/or signed declination for the current Aspirus Flu and COVID Safety Programs
- Complete a TB Questionnaire
- Complete assigned EPIC Training prior to start date (if applicable)
Attending Instructor(s) must: (if applicable)
- Submit all onboarding requirements 4 weeks prior to the start of rotation (The below requirements are available through the sent application link upon school representatives’ initial application)
