Financial Assistance for Breast Health

Aspirus is supporting women and men in need of financial assistance with breast health related medical costs through the Aspirus Breast Health Assistance Fund.
The program can assist those who have not gotten a routine mammogram or have not had a breast concern checked out because of concerns related to health insurance, accessibility or other issues.
“This program provides vital services to individuals who would otherwise not be able to afford them,” says Aspirus Women’s Health Outreach Coordinator Mary Wachtl. “Financial challenges shouldn’t be a barrier to someone learning about a potential life-altering condition.”
The fund provides breast screening and diagnostic services up to the point of a diagnosis of cancer.
Covered services for those who qualify include:
- Clinical breast exam
- Screening mammogram
- Diagnostic mammogram
- Breast ultrasound
- Breast biopsy
- Breast MRI
“We are very proud to be able to provide this service to the people in our communities, says Wachtl. “It’s a community-funded program that could help save your friend, family member or neighbor’s life.”
This program is supported by community and employee donations to the Aspirus Health Foundation - Women’s Health Fund. Additional support is provided by Aspirus and its affiliates.
