WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. – Aspirus Health announces the addition of Christopher Koster, MD, FAAP, to Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Clinic – Peach Street. Koster is a board‑certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics who brings more than 15 years of experience caring for children in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Koster completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, where he also earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Since finishing residency in 2009, he has provided comprehensive primary pediatric care and has played a key role in expanding access to children’s health services, including opening a clinic in a community that previously had no pediatric care available.
Throughout his career, Koster has also served in teaching roles, working with medical students, nurse practitioner students, and physician assistant students for more than 16 years. He is committed to supporting families with clear, up‑to‑date guidance and helping children build healthy habits from infancy through young adulthood.
“I truly love taking care of children,” Koster said. “It is a joy to watch them grow and develop. My goal is to provide the best care possible and to be both a medical provider and a teacher for parents as they navigate their child’s health.”
His personal interests include hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and cheering for the Kansas Jayhawks and the Green Bay Packers.
