Aspirus oncology welcomes Audrea R. Williams, PA-C

Aspirus Laurium Clinic proudly welcomes board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) Audrea R. Williams to its oncology and hematology team.

Williams comes to Aspirus from Green Bay Oncology, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she practiced collaboratively with physicians in managing patients’ acute and long-term medical care needs. She is a familiar face at Aspirus and in the community, having worked as a physician assistant for health care organizations in the Upper Peninsula, including then Aspirus Keweenaw Medical Arts in Houghton from 2011 to 2013.

Williams earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Mississippi. She brings a well-rounded clinical background with experience in family medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, general surgery, endocrinology, and dermatology.

Williams cares for patients like they are family. She enjoys being hands-on and encourages patients to have an active role in their care to ensure the best possible experiences and outcomes.

“We’re here for our patients in every way that they need us because that’s what compassionate care is all about,” Williams said. “I’m very excited to be a part of the care team here at Aspirus and look forward to the continuation of building lifelong relationships with patients and the community.”

Williams is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Professional affiliations include the American Association of Physician Assistants and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Williams is thrilled to be back in the Keweenaw, living in our small, close-knit community that “graciously welcomed” her years ago.
