Aspirus Health Foundation Reflects on a Solid Year of Support in Portage County

STEVENS POINT, Wisc. - Over the past 12 months, Aspirus Health Foundation has approved grants from its Stevens Point/Plover area donor funds totaling more than $250,000 and touching lives across vital areas of care at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital.

Aspirus Health Foundation stewards more than two dozen donor-directed funds, continuing the long legacy of philanthropic efforts that support the facility and its programs. Donor dollars past and present continue to augment, wherever needed most, Aspirus Health’s efforts to provide the best possible patient safety, experience and outcomes.

Programs and projects funded in the past 12-month include:

  • Wireless Fetal Monitors for the Women and Infant Center: $126,971 (Greatest Need Fund)
  • In-Body Composition Analyzer for Cardia and Pulmonary Rehabilitation: $16,889 (Cardiac Arrest Survival Team (CAST) Fund)
  • Patient Transport: $5,000 (Patient Assistance Fund)
  • Christmas in Oncology: $500 (Oncology Fund)

Aspirus Health Foundation extends its appreciation to donors and to its eight local philanthropy committee members who are community leaders and volunteer their time and talent in supporting the Aspirus Health mission of healing people, promoting health, and strengthening communities.
