The Community Blood Center will host two blood drives in Wisconsin Rapids this May, giving local residents a chance to support patients across the region. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood, and a single donation can help provide lifesaving care for multiple people.
The drives will take place at the former East Junior High School at 311 Lincoln St. in the Music/Band Room. Parking is available at the end of S. Sixth St. across from the baseball diamond.
Donation opportunities are Monday, May 18 from 2 to 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Appointments are appreciated and can be made by calling (800) 280‑4102.
