Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital Breast Care Center Earns National Recognition as a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence

STEVENS POINT, Wis. - Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital is proud to announce that its Breast Care Center has once again achieved the prestigious designation of Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence, the highest level of recognition awarded by the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers (NQMBC). The center has consistently maintained this elite certification since 2014, underscoring more than a decade of dedication to exceptional breast health care.
This achievement reflects the strong collaboration, expertise, and commitment demonstrated by the entire Breast Care Center team. Staff members played a vital role in gathering and submitting the extensive data required for certification, ensuring the center continues to meet rigorous national quality standards.
According to the NQMBC and the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC), this designation recognizes facilities that demonstrate an ongoing commitment to providing the highest-quality breast care and achieving national excellence. Only a select group of breast centers across the country earn this top-tier status.
“This recognition reflects the heart of who we are, a team deeply committed to delivering exceptional, compassionate breast care for every patient who walks through our doors,” said Kerrie Treutel, Breast Health Center Nurse Navigator with Aspirus Health. “Maintaining this level of excellence since 2014 speaks to the dedication of our staff and our unwavering focus on quality. We’re proud to serve our community with the highest standards of care.”
