Aspirus Lake View President Greg Ruberg Named MHA Board Chair for 2026

Aspirus Lake View (ALV) President Greg Ruberg has started the new year with an additional role. While he will continue to serve as ALV’s senior executive, Ruberg has been elected to serve as 2026 board chair for the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA).
The MHA represents 140 hospitals and health systems across Minnesota, including urban and rural hospitals, independent facilities and large integrated health systems. Ruberg has served in multiple leadership roles within MHA over the past several years. That includes serving as a board member since 2018, being a member of the executive committee since 2021, secretary-treasurer in 2024 and chair elect in 2025.
In his role as board chair, Ruberg will collaborate with health care leaders statewide to help address key issues affecting Minnesota’s hospitals and the communities they serve.
“I am honored to serve as the 2026 board chair for the Minnesota Hospital Association,” ALV President Greg Ruberg said. “Health care continues to evolve rapidly, and hospitals across Minnesota are navigating significant challenges and opportunities. I am committed to working alongside my colleagues to champion innovative, collaborative solutions that strengthen the care our hospitals and health systems provide to patients and communities throughout the state.”
Ruberg will focus on supporting efforts to improve patient care, enhance workforce stability and advance system-wide strategies to strengthen Minnesota's health care infrastructure.
