Aspirus Doctors Clinic Welcomes Surgeon

WISCONSIN RAPIDS - Aspirus Doctors Clinic in Wisconsin Rapids welcomes general surgeon, Adam Bourgon, DO, FACS.

A native of Maine, Dr. Bourgon earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. He completed his residency in general surgery at Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Bourgon is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He takes a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and surgical oncology.

“Seeing a surgeon can be a nerve-wracking time in one’s life,” said Dr. Bourgon. “I aim to be your advocate throughout the whole experience, whether it be a clinic procedure or a major operation.”

Dr. Bourgon served nine years of active duty with the Air Force, stationed at Wright Patterson AFB and Langley AFB. His service included two deployments to Iraq, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, hunting, fishing, bird hunting with his dogs, and just being outdoors.
