Who We Are

  • Mission – The mission of the Aspirus Riverview Foundation is to enhance the health and wellness of the communities we serve.
  • Vision – Aspirus Riverview Foundation will drive impactful community health and wellness initiatives in South Wood County and Northern Adams County. The foundation, in collaboration with Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics, will focus community attention on significant health needs and provide the philanthropic direction to accomplish change.

The foundation is uniquely positioned to bring together organizations working to address community health problems, the hospital’s expertise on health and philanthropists desiring to participate in impactful projects. The foundation will provide support through grants to organizations working on initiatives that are aligned with our priority to solve the urgent problems threatening the health of our community.

What We Do

Good health starts in our communities

With your help, Aspirus Riverview Foundation strives to support community-based efforts that align with our mission to advance health and improve quality of life for people in our region.

The Aspirus Riverview Foundation raises money for various health related initiatives in the community and within Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics. In addition to raising money and receiving community gifts, the Foundation also determines the best way to utilize its resources to make the biggest impact on the community.

Some of the projects we have partnered to support include:

  • Wisconsin Rapids YMCA - Boys & Girls Club
  • Safety equipment for the Wisconsin Rapids Youth Sports Association.
  • Training and equipment for local first responders and fire departments.
  • Community Care Paramedic Program
  • Community presentations on mental health, substance abuse, and addiction.
  • SWEPS (South Wood Emerging Pantry Shelf) Mobile Food Pantry

The Foundation also supports and invests in programs that more directly support:

  • Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics
  • Aspirus Heart & Vascular
  • Aspirus Riverview Cancer Center
