Aspirus Riverview Hospital Celebrates New GI Procedures Unit
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. – Beginning July 1, patients having colonoscopies or upper endoscopies will be cared for in Aspirus Riverview Hospital’s new GI procedures unit. The new unit features three spacious, state-of-the-art procedure rooms and nine private pre/post-procedure patient rooms.
“Patient care is our top priority,” said Brian Kief, president of Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics. “Our new GI procedures unit emphasizes patient comfort and privacy, creating an enhanced patient experience.”
Community members were invited to a ribbon cutting and open house on June 25. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the new unit, meet and visit with Aspirus Riverview’s GI procedures team, learn about GI procedures, get the latest information on preventing and detecting colorectal cancer, schedule their next colonoscopy, enjoy light refreshments, and enter to win door prizes.
