Aspirus Medford Surgical Nurse Honored for Highest Certification Test Score in Country
Aspirus Medford
Hospital Surgical Services Registered Nurse Lacey Liske was recently recognized
for achieving the highest Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification
test score in 2023 from the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses
(AORN).
Liske was honored
during the AORN Global Surgical Conference and Expo in Nashville, Tennessee,
March 9-12, 2024.
The Certified
Perioperative Nurse (CNOR®) credential is the only accredited certification for
perioperative registered nurses. CNOR certification assesses the knowledge and
skills of a perioperative nurse with a minimum of two years of clinical
practice.
Held by more than
40,000 nurses internationally, earning the CNOR is a mark of distinction and
demonstrates a commitment to upholding the highest standards in patient safety.
In 2023, nearly 3,500 Perioperative Nurses were tested as part of the process with
Liske achieving the top score among all candidates.

Liske has been
employed with Aspirus Medford Hospital for 15 years, she is the second
registered nurse in surgical services at Aspirus Medford Hospital to earn CNOR
certification.
