Aspirus Family House – The Aspirus Family House offers a safe, affordable place to stay for patients and families travelling to Wausau for emergency or specialized care. Some patients receive treatment for weeks or months at a time. For many, the cost of a hotel is a burden they cannot afford. With philanthropic support, we can ensure this home-away-from home is available to all in need.

Children’s Literacy Prescription Program – Aspirus Health supports early children’s literacy, offering books to children age 0 to 5 in our clinics across the health system. Your gifts to support Children’s Literacy help build a strong educational base that empowers children to learn and succeed, develop critical life and critical thinking skills. Gifts also help foster a joy of reading, and build more equitable communities. Books are provided to children during well-child visits and are also used as an opportunity for the clinician to gauge progress toward important developmental milestones.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – The Anya Marie Jackson Level III NICU at Aspirus Wausau Hospital is the region’s only single-family room model for critically ill babies, meaning parents can stay with their baby 24/7 and have an opportunity to bond and participate in their care. Donors play a pivotal role in ensuring the NICU has the resources and technology necessary to provide specialized care to these fragile infants. Supporting the NICU extends beyond the immediate medial needs of the infants, also providing a supportive environment for families facing the emotional and financial challenges that may come with having a critically ill newborn.
