TEE OFF FOR THE GIRLS Supports Local Cancer Care

WISCONSIN RAPIDS - This year marked the 17th annual Tee Off For The Girls Golf Outing coordinated by the Ladies of Lake Arrowhead. More than 130 participants joined the cause, raising nearly $12,000 for Aspirus Riverview Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Patient Fund.

“Many, if not all of us have had a personal experience with cancer,” shared the planning committee members. “We understand the emotional and financial challenges that come along with a cancer diagnosis, and it is very important to us to support our local ladies while they are facing these challenges.”

Sherry Evenson, Executive Director of Aspirus Riverview Foundation stated, “We are very grateful for the Ladies of Lake Arrowhead’s efforts and their embodiment of our local cancer center’s motto, ‘No One Fights Alone.’ The goodwill they demonstrate brings hope and makes a true difference in our community.”

Aspirus Riverview Foundation strives to support community-based efforts that align with improving the community's greatest health and wellness needs.
